Bumps In The Road…
Posted by: | CommentsYesterday my car was hit from behind by a driver not paying attention as the traffic in front of me came to a stop.
The bump was a shock to my system! Thankfully I’m feeling ok – so far at least – though the rear bumper’s seen better days.
Why am I telling you this? Not for sympathy..but to make a point about life and internet marketing.
Internet marketing is a slice of real life…Real people marketing to real people.
Yesterday I had a bad day with a surprise rear end collision.
Sometimes your business has it’s equivalent to the rear end shunt. Something unexpected happens…
Google changes it’s algorithm, “slaps” your web site and you drop off the first pages of natural search.
Your visitors drop and your sales drop.
Now you don’t have website accident insurance to compensate you – so what do you do?
Go back to basics – improve your web pages – better targeted keywords, better images, better videos, more valuable content….
Send more articles out. Do more marketing and your pages and your traffic will come back.
